초록

人間은 집단생활과 정착생활을 하게 되면서부터 食生活에 食糧의 저장과 음식 조리를 위해 혹은 물건을 담기도 하고 운반하기도 하는 등의 用途에 따라 그릇의 必要性이 생기게 됨으로서 흙으로 만든 그릇이 本格的으로 나타나기 시작한다. 土器는 그 크기와 모양에 있어서 각각 그 기능이나 역할이 다소 다르다 하더라도 어느 時代나 地域에서 生活의 感情과 民族性이 浸透하여 있고 地域的 制約이 作用하고 있기 때문에 우리나라 伽倻 新羅時代 土器에는 그 당시의 政治 經濟 宗敎 藝術 등의 社會狀況과 精神的인 面을 보여 준다고 할 수 있다. 경상남북도 지역에서 發生한 伽倻 新羅土器는 A.D를 전후하는 시기에 남한강을 경유해 내려온 중국 漢나라의 토기문화가 종래의 無紋土器文化에 영향을 주며 赤色軟質土器와 함께 만들어지게 된다. 진정한 의미에서의 신라 가야토기는 김해식 회청색토기를 모체로해서 成立된 것으로 생각되며 녹로를 사용해 성형되어 섭씨 1200도 정도의 고온이 가능한 登窯에서 還元焰으로 구워지기 때문에 두드리면 쇳소리가 날 정도로 단단한 灰靑色軟質土器이다. 이 시기에는 壺 高林 器臺 異形土器 盞 土偶 등 여러 형태의 토기가 용도에 맞게 만들어지게 되는데 이 가운데서도 가장 특징적인 요소가 되는것은 비교적 높은 굽이 달린 토기가 많이 만들어지는 것이다. 이러한 굽 높은 토기는 그 時代 生活의 斷面을 보여주는 훌륭한 조형물로서 種類을 분류해 보면 다음과 같다. 器形土器 1) 器臺 2) 高林 3) 壺 異形土器 1) 鴨形土器 2) 車形土器 3) 馬形 舟形土器 4) 角杯形 燈盞土器 이러한 굽 높은 土器의 형태가 왜 伽倻 新羅地域土器에 이와같은 굽을 붙이는 수법이 유행 하였는가에 대하여 그 時代의 政治 經濟 社會的 現狀이나 宗敎的 背景과 굽 높은 토기의 器形 異形 上器 形態의 변천과정을 硏究함으로서 굽 높은 토기가 갖는 특징과 더불어 造形的인 面 및 形態美가 보여주는 美的意味을 살펴볼 수 있겠다.

The vessel made of mud appeard intially with the born of mankind. When human started a group and settlement life they need a vessel to lay up provision to cock to put in something and to transport. Though pottery was a different function and role according to its size and shape whatever the people lived in any times regions and culture the pottery of Shilla and Kaya period In Korea showed a states of society and psychology-politiction Economic religion and Arts-because the sense of life and people's spirits which was come out from its climates and circumstance filtered into it and the restriction of region was operated in there. Before and after A.D. a pottery culture of china which was via the Nam Han river the pottery of Shilla and Kaya period which was come out in the south and north on Kyung Sang-do was made same with red soft poettery. In genuine meaning It was thought that pottery of Shilla and Kaya was made to be the whitish-gray pottery of Kim Hae type as the parents body and corrected by using a potter's wheel. In this time the various type pottery-jar mounted cup stoneware stand stoneware odd-shaped pottery cup human figuriu-me stoneware-was made. Among them the characteristic factory is the fact that the pottery with a comparatively high bottom of a vessel was made in abundance.
