초록
종장판주는 삼국시대를 대표하는 주의 형식으로 실물자료로는 주로 신라 가야지역의 고분 부장품 중에서 출토되며 지금까지 약 40여점이 출토된 것으로 알려져 있다. 종장판주는 여러 가지 갑주의 유형 중에서도 가장 이른 시기에 출현한는 것 중의 하나인 동시에 가장 늦게 까지 존속했던 갑주이다. 종장판주는 다양한 형식이 존재할 뿐만 아니라 그 기술적인 계보 지역적 전개양상 부장양상의 시기적 변화 등과 관련하여 흥미로운 요소가 많다. 따라서 종장판주에 대한 체계적인 분석과 연구는 신라 가야 갑주문화의 전개를 이해하는데 매우 중요한 부분을 차지할 것으로 여겨진다. 이글에서는 지금까지 발굴보고된 종장판주를 대상으로 기초적인 분석을 시도해 보았다. 첫째 종장판주의 제작기술 요소를 검토하여 다양한 기술적 특성을 정의하여 보았다. 둘째 종장판주의 속성들을 분석하여 제 속성들을 기술적 기능적 사회계층적인 의미들과 연결시켜 검토해 보았다. 그리고 속성의 조합에 따라 제 형식들을 인지하고 종장판주의 시공간적인 전개과정을 분석하여 신라 가야사회에 있어서 종장판주가 제작 소유 사용되는 양상의 변화를 단계적으로 검토해 보았다.
초록(영문)
Jong-jang-pan-joo(縱長板□) and Chalgop are type of iron Helmet which are representative of the era of the Three Kingdom. and also they are a kind of armour of the north district. Original materials are excavated at grave goods at tumuli in Silla and Kaya area. So far we know about forty materials were excavated. Jong-jang-pan-joo(縱長板□) is one of the earlist armours and the last ones. when it is compared with other types of armour it has not only various types but also technical genealogy distributional aspect of region period change of burial aspect and instresting elements. therefor sestemical analysis and study on Jong-jang-pan-joo are vere important so that we may understand armoured culture in Silla and Kaya. at first the attribute of Jong-jang-pan-joo is assumed to contain meaning in connection with function to use technical System and class to possess. therefor if we tell briefly the result by inference about each meaning of an attribute is this ; First Bokbal(伏鉢) of Jong-jang-pan-jm is made up of iron and organic substance. thease qualities of materials mean difference class when one has Jong-jang-pan-joo. because manufacture of iron Bokbal(伏鉢) take more time and cost than organic Bokbal(伏鉢). Second the type of lengthwise board(縱長板) composing Jong-jang-pan-joo take two attributes called unfold I type and bent Ⅱtype. they seems to be connected with unility and efficiency that is to say funtional aspect as they are fight Third the type of cheek cover(볼가리개) which is clung to Jong-jang-pan-joo classfied with cheek cover of trianger board (三角板볼가리개) and Sochal type cheek cover(小)札볼가리개) and cheek cover of lengthwise board(細長板볼가리개). we know that each of them are developed according to the genealogy of manufactural technology and period change. Fourth the number of lengthwise board(縱長板) composing Jong-jang-pan -joo proves period change of manufactural technique and development. Jong-jang-pan-joo in the forth century is made with about 5~20 pieces of lengthwise board. but in the fifth century the technique of manufactura pieces with 21~40 is much development. so much more is turn out. Next is relation to the System of Jong-jang-pan-joo. predecessors pursuited the System at the advenced culture of North such Buyu(夫餘) Gogoolu(高句麗). so we think (that) it is proper that we should follow their study in the same manner. Until now the oldest Jong-jang-pan-joo archeological specimens is You-su-no-ha-shim(楡樹老河深)middle layer remains and described at tumuli painting of Gogoolu(高句麗). they are known to be used I type and Ⅱtype together. these aspects have been developing with coexisting I type and Ⅱtype in Youngnam area. Like this being put on Sochal type cheek cover(小札볼가리개) Jong-jang-pan-joo and ChalGap(札甲) Together were adopted as being showed at You-su-no-ha-shim (楡樹老河深) middle layer. But because of limitation of manufactural technique Jong-jang-pan-joo adopted lengthwise board-manufactural technique of original System and attached lengthwise board(細長板볼가리개) and also buried with lengthwise board-lingking with nail-armours(縱長板釘結板甲) together. But has manufactural technique is developed new form ChalGap(札甲) was begun and also Sochal type cheek cover(小札볼가리개) was adopted Jong-jang-pan-joo burial with ChalGap(札甲). Moreover after functional I type was declined much more powerful Ⅱtype was becoming presperous. we can assum that Jong-jang-pan-joo Itype transformed and developed with board-lingking with nail manufactual technique being adopted side by side.
